|
| Services Offered:
Real estate investment listings |
|
| Company Overview:
HomeGain is owned by Classified Ventures, LLC. They
connect home buyers with agents and homes that are for
sale. They operate out of California, but have listings
nationwide. They also offer information about real
estate investing. They have more than 5 million visitors
per month, as well. |
|
| Our Review:
HomeGain is a great service. They have so much
information on real estate and investment in real estate
for all types of people. The site is really easy to use,
and the customer support is very attentive and useful.
Plus, their service is free, which is always a great
bonus. |
|
| User Review:
HomeGain helped me buy my last three real estate
investment properties. I found so many great listings,
and I have every intention of coming back for more.
Their website is really well designed and they have so
much to offer anyone looking to buy a home for any
reason. |

|
| Company Overview:
RealtyTrac has more than 1.5 million listings of
foreclosed homes across the country, including more than
2,200 individual counties. They were founded back in
1996, and offer consumers a chance to get a cheaper home
since the homes are all foreclosed properties.
Foreclosures are also a great real estate investment,
which brings a lot of investor traffic to the site. |
|
| Our Review:
RealtyTrac has so many great resources for people that
are into real estate investing. Since they only list
foreclosed homes, they have a much better advantage to
investors than other sites that list traditional home
sales and other properties. The site makes finding what
you need easy, and the listings are very complete, which
is nice. |
|
| User Review:
RealtyTrac was referred to me by a fellow investor when
I was looking to do some rehabbing of homes. I wanted
something that didn’t need a lot of work, but was fairly
cheap. This website had plenty of different places for
me to choose from, which was really helpful. |

|
Company Overview:
ZipRealty was established in 1999 as a real estate
service provider. They were founded by a group of people
who wanted to make real estate buying and selling much
easier, faster, and more efficient. The site now offers
many services beyond home listings, including
information and resources for investors. |
|
| Our Review:
ZipRealty has a great site going. The listings and other
resources that they have are really suiting for anyone
looking to buy or sell a home, including investors and
consumers alike. They have a great support section and a
simple search engine to help people find the listings
that suit their needs. |
|
| User Review:
I wasn’t sure about looking at houses online, but I
needed a fast way to do it because I didn’t have a lot
of time to go out and look at houses on my own. I found
this site almost by accident, and I’m glad that I did. I
ended up buying my family home after finding it here,
and even my next real estate investment property came
from this site. |

Real estate marketing |
|
| Company Overview:
RealtyStore.com has listings across all 50 states in the
country. They were started as a way to offer accessible
foreclosure listings to the masses, for home purchases
and real estate investing. The site offers a free 7 day
trial of their services, which is a great way to test
them out before you buy. |
|
| Our Review:
The free trial is a lot of what sold us with this
particular company. They have a lot of great listings
and so much useful information, but the fact that they
let you try out their services before you pay for them
is really great. Give these guys a shot if you’re in the
market for foreclosures. |
|
| User Review:
RealtyStore.com had so many great listings to choose
from, and I was really impressed. I’m always a little
skeptical of companies that offer memberships to give
you the best deals on foreclosed homes, but the 7 day
trial let me check it out, and I’m glad that I did. |

Is Real Estate Investing Still Safe?: |
|
Given the state
of the economy in recent years, many different people
are scared to buy a home, let alone invest in real
estate. However, as long as the investment in real
estate is a stable one, and you have the financial means
to be able to make the investment without compromising
your financial situation, you'll easily be able to see
that real estate investing can be much more possible
than you might have thought. Until the economy gets
better, many people will be shying away from the real
estate market, which actually makes it all the better
for all of those people who are willing and able to
invest. It doesn't matter whether you are buying your
family a home or whether you're making a financial
investment, because both are great ways to improve on
your future, as long as you're making a sound
investment. First, you need to be certain that you can
afford the investment that you are making. After all,
you can't buy a home that you can't afford. If you're
investing, you'll need to be sure that you can afford
the cost of the house that you purchase, as well as any
upgrades or improvements that you will need to make
before cashing in on your investment, either through
renting or selling the property. Once you've checked
your budget, you need to make sure you find a home that
suits your needs. For starters, if you're making an
investment in real estate, you won't have as many
particular criteria as you would when it comes to buying
a home for your family. You will need to consider the
size, location, features, and amenities of the home to
make sure that it's right for your real estate investing
needs, whether it be for personal or business purposes.
All in all, real estate investing can still be a good
industry to get involved with as long as you're careful
and stable enough to invest in the first place.
